Two classes available this term:

A beginners guide on the practice of prayer, to help you grow and deepen your own personal prayer life.

Each week will cover two types of prayer, and will conclude with an opportunity for tables to discuss the content and then practice the type of prayer from that session.

This class is suitable for new believers and those who desire to be more intentional in their personal prayer life.

A condensed overview of the first 26 books of the Old Testament, highlighting key themes and messages for understanding the wider Biblical narrative.

This class is a great kick-starter for anyone who has a desires to read, study or simply grow in their knowledge and understanding of the Old Testament.

FAQs about Night
Classes

  • Classes are $20.

    This is the cost for the entire class for the term.

  • Our Night Classes are video based teaching. A facilitator will lead each class and at different points the teaching may paused to provide a time for discussion. Tables will be set up with water bottles provided and will seat around 3-4 people facing the screen.

    We highly recommend you bring something to take notes with. While there will be a short welcome at the beginning, classes will begin promptly on time and go straight into learning. So ensure that you arrive ten minutes early to sign in, and get a hot drink and supper.

  • The entrance to Night Classes will be via Lounge 2, which is located in the courtyard by the children’s playground.

    In Lounge 2 you can check in, hot drinks and light refreshments will be available, and you will be directed to either Lounge 1 or Lounge 3 depending on the class you have signed up for. Toilets are accessible from Lounge 2.

  • There are no online options for Term 2 Night Classes.

  • Our Night Classes teaching and curriculum is from Theos University, based in Franklin, Tennesee in the USA. They are aligned to the core doctrines of the orthodox faith, just as New Life is.
